How young is “young” in Hollywood? As the age keeps getting younger and younger the sense of fashion does not quit. These celebrities have shown us, that even though they are maybe too young to drink or vote, they can sure rock (or even start!) the newest fashion trends.
Hailee Steinfeld (17 years old)
Oscar nominated and Critics Choice Award winner, Haillee Steinfeld, has graced In Style’s best dressed list multiple times. She has evolved from stylish pre-teen to trend setting teenager without skipping a beat. Hailee is known for rocking unique bold prints while keeping the look understated and conservative as well as wearing LWDs (little white dresses) embellished with fun accessories. In 2011 Hailee was named the face of Miu Miu based on her ability to “carry mature and elegant silhouettes, while still remaining true to her youthful spirit,”. Many can agree with Miu Miu and admire Hailee’s effortless ability to be a young fashion icon.
Kendall and Kylie Jenner (18 and 16 years old)
2013 was a whirlwind of a year for Kendall and Kylie -fashion wise that is! The two worked with PacSun to release their own fashion line including a sold out holiday collection. Their line features casual-yet-chic pieces that reflect their own popular styles. Kendall wears beachy, classy, casual pieces while Kylie goes for the edgy, darker look. “We have different yet similar style,” Kendall explains during their Teen Vogue interview. Kendall and Kylie have influenced teenage style trends popularizing the “California vibe” trend.
Cara Delevingne (21 years old)
Despite being an award-winning model that has walked the runways of many known designers Cara Delevingne has made her quirky, edgy style a fashion staple. Her eyebrows alone have made worldwide stardom placing bushy, bold, natural eyebrows back into style. She is known for her laid back attire that frequently features beanies, Chuck Taylors, and bold prints. Cara quotes her own style, “Comfort is very key to me because I spend most of my time in very uncomfortable things, so it’s all about trainers and flats.” Just recently, during London fashion week, Cara revealed a new collection of Mulberry bags she exclusively designed- the Cara Delevinge Collection.
Elle Fanning (15 years old)
Elle’s love for clothes can easily be seen from her wardrobe of haute couture favorites like Chanel, Valentino, Rodarte, and Marc Jacobs. She stepped out into the spotlight known as “Dakota Fanning’s little sister” but she soon made a name for herself not only on film but also on the red carpet. Her fashion icon is Alexa Chung, both sharing a love for all things vintage. Elle is often seen in floral, lacey pieces that have a romantic feel. Elle told fashion magazine Marie Claire, “The best part of my day is picking out my outfit. I love looking through my closet and putting things together.”
