Snygg Hall was home to many math and science classes up until this fall. Then Shineman took over. Students can now see Snygg, blocked by fences, as it will be taken down soon.
The building was named after Donald M. Snygg, former university professor and author. He was also a chairman for the psychology department and worked at Oswego from 1937-67.
An award is given out each year in his honor to athletes who have demonstrated athletic and academic success.
A photo of Donald Snygg was unavailable, so here is what the building looks like.
