ATTENTION LADIES:
We have no Christian Grey. I repeat, we have no Christian Grey!!Â
Charlie Hunnam has reportedly dropped the role as the oh-so-dreamy 50 Shades of Grey star. According to Universal Studios, “Hunnam’s immersive TV schedule which is not allowing him to adequately prepare for the role of Christian Grey.”Â
The British actor Charlie Hunnam has dropped out of starring alongside the actress Dakota Johnson, who is to play Anastasia Steele, in film adaptation of E. L. James’s best-selling novel. The movie is set to begin filming quite soon so hopefully they will be able to find another star set to play the powerful, dominant, and sexy Christian Grey.
Author, E.L. James has been very involved in the picking of the actors for this film and is wishing all the best to Charlie Hunnam on his departure from starring in 50 Shades of Grey.
Some fans were outraged over Hunnam being picked to play this role in the first place, so now let’s see what director Sam Taylor-Johnson, has instore for us. Here are some early rumors of names that were thrown around to play Mr. Grey before Charlie Hunnam was chosen:
- Ian Somerhalder
- Matt Bomer
- Ryan Gosling
- Henry Cavill
