Last night, Fran&Chan represented Her Campus and attended the main event for Daniel Footwear’s 20th birthday: their exclusive launch of their new Macmillan bag for life.
It was a brilliant night filled with shopping, cakes, champagne and goody bags! But it was important not to forget the underlying charitable message of the night. Daniel Footwear have never before been involved in a charity partnership like this, but they couldn’t resist teaming up with Macmillan, a brand that is vibrant and loud just like Daniel, and mainly because of the sad but true fact that all of Daniel’s customers are likely to have been affected by cancer in some way. The bag for life costs just £5 and 50% of that goes directly to Macmillan Cancer Support.
The night proved such a success that Daniel Footwear is considering continuing the celebrations in more local stores, including York and Harrogate.
In addition to the bag for life, Daniel have
also introduced another charitable scheme online. When customers order their purchases online, they now have the option to make a 99p donation, which Daniel Footwear will match every time, with every penny of that going straight to Macmillan.
