Everyone I’ve spoken to recently has been raving about the emotional, gruesome, Breaking Bad finale; but now Collegiettes are faced with a new challenge: what TV show are we going to obsess over next? You’ve watched every season of New Girl on Netflix and you have no shows to replace your precious TV hour you have reserved on Sunday and Wednesday nights. What is a girl to do? Well, I’ve got the solution for you. Here is a list of the most anticipated shows that are sure to be talked about during your next study sesh this month.
- Walking Dead (9pm Oct. 13 AMC): Many new characters are being introduced in the new season of Walking Dead because there will be many losses this season, not only at Woodbury but also within the beloved Prison group. New crazy stunts will be pulled by the Governor and we will question whether Rick will step down as group leader or continue on. You’ll have to watch to find out! (If you have not watched this series, I highly recommend it, the old seasons are available on Netflix.)
- Awkward (10:30 pm Oct. 22 MTV): Jenna, an awkward high school blogger suffers through the woes of dating, school, and relationships. This season on awkward Jenna is embracing the “bag girl” inside her by questioning her relationship with current boyfriend, Matty, and pondering the possibilities of starting a new relationship with the bad boy writer, Collin.
- American Horror Story (9pm Oct. 9 FX): If you are interested in watching American Horror Story but are afraid you wouldn’t understand the plot, do not worry. American Horror Story starts each season as a new story! Season 3 is centered on the concept of modern witchcraft, and the precious practice to keep witchcraft from becoming extinct. This show is rather dark in nature, but totally addicting.
- Once Upon A Time (8pm Sun ABC): If fantasy and fairytales peak your interest, Once Upon A Time is the show for you! In this hit series there is an interesting link between reality and the world of fairytales, like the story of Snow White. This season, the most anticipated episode is called “Ariel” where you have probably guessed mermaids will make an appearance in.
- Vampire Diaries (8 pm Thurs CW): Audiences are curious to see what Silas is up to next is as each of the recent graduates from Mystic Falls start their new lives as college freshman. Elaina and Stefan are back together once again but how long will it take for either Katherine or Damon to change that? Find out what will happen next in the Vampire Diaries most popular love triangle.
- The Voice (8pm Mon NBC): Which star judge will be victorious this season? Will it be reigning champ Blake Shelton or will Adam Levine snatch up a winning team member? If you aren’t up to date with this reality TV show, stars Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green and the stars mentioned previously pick everyday, talented, singers to make up a team the celebs train. These individual team members then compete against each other and rely on audience voting to ensure their spot in the finale.
- Super Fun Night (9:30 Wed ABC): This new show featuring Rebel Wilson is a rib buster, absolutely hilarious. Newly promoted lawyer, Kimmie Boubier (Rebel Wilson) struggles to catch the attention of her bosses son, Richard Royce. This busty, plus-size woman finds herself in a multitude of embarrassing situations that she seemingly brushed off with effortless self-confidence.
