Preparing for Midterms: Midterm Mashup with the Educational Resource Center

The typical BU student is anything but just a student. We’re club presidents, stellar interns, and student office employees. We write, photograph, tutor, and volunteer in our free time. Our busy schedules may make studying a struggle, but we’re always striving to do our best. That said, midterms are upon us, and we’re getting ready for our first major tests of the semester. After 3 long months of summer and only 1 way too short month back at school, adjusting to “test mode” may be hard, which is why the Educational Resource center is holding Midterm Mashup in 100 Bay state Road (Room 101) from 9/30 to 10/3.

Brain Food

Stressful studying often causes even the healthiest student to completely pig out. Did you know these food choices could have a negative effect on your ability to study? Hear tips about choosing the right brain power foods from the Sargent Choice Nutrition Center.

Representatives from the Wellness & Prevention Services will be talking about how to ensure a good night’s sleep to better prepare you for test taking.

The Wellness & Prevention Services’ Student Health Ambassadors will be on hand to help students recognize and avoid stress triggers. They will provide helpful stress management strategies.

Learn better ways to study than by cramming at this test prep workshop. Come hear tips on how to study smarter!

Credit Report Forensics

The Financial Assistance Office will show you how to do your own “Credit Report Forensics” so you can see how your spending and payment habits affect your credit score. Learn how to get a copy of your credit report, understand what it says about your credit history. Learn money management skills so money doesn’t stress you out.
