Middle school dances: boys on one side of the room, girls on the other (awkward chaperones scattered about). It feels like ages ago when we were standing in a hot gym listening to the censored versions of 2005’s top hits. There were no house parties, frat parties or bar hopping on the weekends; many of us lived for the occasional school dance.
Room temperatures haven’t changed (SJU basements are saunas) but I would say our “going out” style has transformed drastically.  Let’s admit it, we all owned a jean skirt, maybe even more than one. Some of the “hot” brands were Abercrombie and Limited Too. Polo shirts were a must, yet you were only cool if you popped your collar (not to mention a moose logo was an automatic in).
Today denim minis have transformed into high waisted denim shorts. Heels and wedges are now an option, no more Birkenstocks. Only the boys are rocking the collars on their button downs. Crop tops and mesh inserts are a weekend go –too.Â

Lets take a look at the current ladies of Hawk Hill and how they are rocking their transformed looks! No more awkward middle school outfits, that’s for sure!Â
