This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Kenyon chapter.

From fly-fishing to partying with his ΔΤΔ brothers, Will Seidel seems to always be on the move.  When he’s not mixing tunes or enjoying the lovely outdoors, you can find Will in the stands cheering on the Kenyon Field Hockey team (go Ladies!) or in the library working on his comps (yes, he works hard and plays hard). Though this Vineyard Vines-clad gentleman has already found his “fish in the sea.” so to speak, he will still smile and maybe (if you’re lucky) give you a wink from behind those mysterious Croakies of his.

Name: Will Seidel

I’m a proud brother of Delta Tau Delta, a WKCO DJ (I go by the name of DJ Slides), and am a member of the Entrepreneurship and Investment Club

Favorite meal?
A steak grilled over an open campfire at my camp in North Carolina.

What is your dream job?
To be a fly guy down in the Bahamas

Though you still DJ for WKCO, what made you decide to retire from DJing at parties?
It’s fun being the life of the party…but I’m an old man now. I needed to move on.

What is your theme song?
The James Bond theme song

Three artists you want to see live before you die?
George Strait, John Butler, and Swedish House Mafia

What’s on your Kenyon Bucket List:
I want to drink wine at Sunset Point. It doesn’t matter what kind of wine it is…but I have to kill the bottle. Or the box.

What’s your ideal date—either on or off campus?
I’d start by teaching her how to fly fish, and then I’d cook her a nice dinner from the fish that we’d caught.

Three things you look for in a girl?
1) Someone who can improve me as a person, 2) someone who is really friendly and caring, and 3) someone who likes to have fun and pushes me out of my comfort zone.

If you could be any Peirce dessert, which one would you be?
Definitely one of those Peirce cookies & cream milkshakes that you have to make yourself

What’s the reasoning behind that one?
Because you have to put the effort in to make it taste good! (How creative!)

What is your spirit animal?
A golden retriever

What is something most people don’t know about you?
I’m a big outdoorsmen and I like composing songs on the guitar

Celebrity crush?
Penelope Cruz

What’s your favorite quotation?
“Two roads diverged in a wood and I – I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference.” – Robert Frost

If your life were an Old Kenyon party, what would your theme be?
“Ball till you fall”

Uh, what would this “Ball till you fall” theme entail?
The songs “Always Strapped” and “Go Get it” might help explain it.

[Interviewer’s added fun fact. The Vineyard Vine’s (http://www.vineyardvines.com) founders went to Will’s high school. No wonder he’s so in style! So ladies (and gentlemen) if you’re ever looking for a discount…]

Ally Bruschi is a senior political science major at Kenyon College. She spent this past summer interning as a writer with both The Daily Meal, a digital media group  dedicated to "all things food and drink" and The Borgen Project, a non-profit organization that partners with U.S. policymakers to alleviate global poverty. Before entering the "real world" of jobs, however, Ally spent many summers as a counselor at an all-girls summer camp in Vermont, aka the most wonderful place on earth. A good book, a jar of peanut butter, a well-crafted Spotify playlist, and a lazy dog could get her through even the worst of days.
