I think it’s safe to say that the last thing most Collegiettes would associate fun with is birth control. But, it doesn’t have to be. Bedsider makes birth control fun and easy, and they want to come to UCF this fall! Bedsider is an online birth control support network for women 18-29, operated by The National Campaign to Prevent Teen and Unplanned Pregnancy.
This fall, Bedsider is launching their “In the Wild” program that will include parties, lectures, pub-crawls, movie nights and info booths designed to help students stay on top of their sex life. But, these events will not run themselves, that’s where you come in. Bedsider is looking for volunteer Campus Reps to host In the Wild. As a Campus Rep, you will entertain, engage, and inform college students about birth control. Also, imagine how good this would look on your resume.
To apply, fill out an application by September 22, 2013 at www.bedsider.org/inthewild. Campus Reps will gain valuable work experience and make a difference in public health by generating awareness, starting conversations, and helping college women and men learn about birth control options.
The organization, which is not funded by pharmaceutical companies or the government, believes that women in college and beyond should have the right to a healthy, happy sex life without having to worry about unplanned pregnancy. Bedsider would love for you to join the movement and spread the word about the benefits of birth control.
