Summer is right around the corner and with that comes the dreaded summer classes and a summer job. But we can’t let that take over our whole summer; we need to have some fun too! So I took the liberty to compile a list of events and activities happening in the area over the summer:
· The 2013 98 Rockfest will be taking place April 26 at the Tampa Bay Times Forum. Get your tickets now and enjoy the musical styling’s of Alice in Chains, Stone Sour and more. More info at 98rock.com/pages/rockfest
· Sun Toyota Fun ‘n Sun Celebration- April 27 &28 in Coachman Park located in Clearwater. Bring lawn chairs or blankets and enjoy the music as well as the treats provided by the multiple vendors. For more info go to funnsunclearwater.com

· For all you kids at heart Disney on Ice presents Rockin Ever After. Featuring all of your favorite Disney characters, this event will be taking place at Tampa Bay Times Forum May 16th-May 19th. For ticket information visit disneyonice.com
· Don’t have plans for Memorial Day weekend? Then attend the 2013 Sunset Music Festival on Saturday May, 25 at Raymond James Stadium. For the artist lineup and ticket information go to smftampa.com
· As if I didn’t include enough musical events already but there will be a few artists in concert this summer as well: On June 6, LL Cool J &more will be at The Mahaffey. Brad Paisley along with Chris Young will be performing at Florida State Fair Grounds on June 22. A few days later Ke$ha will be Florida State Fairgrounds with Pitbull on the 28th. To put the icing on your summer Bruno Mars will be in concert at Tampa Bay Times Forum on August 28th.
