Music Festival Fashion

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Vanderbilt chapter.

A ton of amazing music festivals are right around the corner, and it is crucial that you start looking for the perfect outfits. The general bohemian theme is present at most music festivals, and whether you are going to Coachella or Bonnaroo, you are sure to look the part after you have considered my outfit suggestions.

This first outfit that Vanessa Hudgens is rocking is perfect for any of you ladies who are slightly more daring and have a great bod. The crochet top, high-waisted shorts, and tribal necklaces come together to make this really cute bohemian look. This outfit definitely makes a statement, but trust me, there are a lot more revealing outfits at these festivals, so my advice is to go ahead and try it.

This next outfit of Katy Perry’s is super adorable and can be worn by anyone. This look is surprisingly tame for Katy Perry, but it is cute nonetheless. It’s perfect for the ladies who want to show a little less skin but still look the part. The high-low hem paired with the fringe and gladiator sandals makes for a perfect outfit.

Emma Roberts also looks music festival ready in this lace crop top, fedora, and patterned pants. While I would never think to pair lace and patterned pants together, Emma manages to pull it off surprisingly well. This outfit is a little more daring than some of the others, but with the confidence to pull it off, you are sure to make a major impression.

Stacey Oswald, originally from South Florida, came to Vanderbilt as a member of the class of 2015 and got involved with HerCampus her freshman year. She became assistant editor that year and is now the Campus Correspondent for Vanderbilt HC as a sophomore. Stacey is currently a columnist for Ask Miss A- Nashville and the life section of The Hustler. She's also very involved in her sorority, Kappa Delta, as well as Invisible Children. Outside of school and her extracurriculars, Stacey finds happiness in many sources, the most crucial being exercise and the sun. She loves to attend exercise classes and is an avid runner; she recently completed the Country Music Half Marathon. She also loves Vitamin D, especially when on the beach- though of course, she only soaks up the sun after applying SPF. A few of the things Stacey couldn't live without? Good food (especially from Sweet Cece's, Bricktops, and Samurai Sushi), great books (The Hypnotist's Love Story is a recent favorite), her family back in Florida, her wonderful boyfriend, and all of the great friends she's made at Vanderbilt.
