Tuesday Ten: Spring Break Beach Style

Heading to the beach next week for Spring Break? Make sure you pick up some of these last minute style steals to look HOT!

 

  1. Wide Brimmed Hat

There is nothing cute about sunburn. Keep your skin safe under an adorable wide-brimmed beach hat!

  1. Maxi Skirt or Dress

This is the perfect option for a dinner out on the beach or a simple afternoon strolling the boardwalk. Pick a light, cotton material for a cooler night.

  1. Tote Bag

It’s important to find a bag large enough to keep all of your beach essentials: a towel, some fashion magazines, sunscreen, etc. Instead of finding a specific beach bag, pick a tote bag in a bright color that can translate into your purse at night. This will help when packing so you don’t have to bring too many different kinds of bags!

  1. Strappy Sandals

Skip the flip-flops and go for a pair of strappy sandals instead. Treat yourself to a pedicure and show off your pretty toes in the sand!

  1. New Bathing Suit

There are so many cute options for bathing suits at this time of the year. Feeling a little daring? Opt for a retro high-waist cut two-piece a la’ Marilyn Monroe. You’ll look chic and the chances of you losing your suit in the waves are less likely than with a teeny bikini.

  1. Cute Cover-Up

This is a beach staple. On Spring Break it is likely that you’ll be running around all day from beach to lunch to shopping and so forth. Find a cute cover-up to throw over your suit when you’re running between the beach and other activities.

  1. Sunglasses

Another essential! Try on loads of different styles and then pick a few of your favorites. Just make sure that they have UV protection against the bright rays!

  1. Denim Shorts

Denim shorts look great over a bathing suit when you’re playing volleyball or Frisbee on the beach. Choose a high waist pair and wear it with a cropped tank to show off a subtle amount of skin.

  1. Flowy Tank Tops

Spring Break style is all about light, comfortable materials. Also, don’t forget to try some fun prints and bright colors – your clothes should look as happy as you feel!

  1. Fun Beach Towel

Last but not least, a fun beach towel will come in handy on Spring Break. Whether you’re lounging by the pool or laying on the sand, pick a cute towel that’ll show off your personal style.
