FASHION FRIDAY: Spring Break Swimsuits For the Budget-Conscious

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at USF chapter.

Cheap doesn’t have to mean drab! When coming to college, we all learn that the ramen noodle, empty-pocket stereotype of students rings totally true. But even with our lack of funds, we still want to look our best for Spring Break.
Look and feel your best on the beach and poolside in these super cute, inexpensive swim suits you can buy online!

Shiny and gold, like the money we don’t have. This sparkly Target bikini is white with a shiny gold geometric overlay. The white will accentuate your new tan, while the eye-catching gild will be sure to keep head turnings. The interesting hooped detail on the ties makes this swim suit unstoppable.
(Target. Top: $17.99, Bottoms: $ 15.99)

Unique One-Pieces

Here’s the proof that one-piece bathing suits don’t have to be boring. Target’s deep-V, ruffle-necked one-piece draws the eyes away from possible trouble areas in your tummy and hips and up to your beautiful bosom and glowing face. The high-cut legs slim and lengthen your legs. It comes in not only slimming black, but also in Mediterranean blue (shown) and bright crimson, too.
(Target. On sale $27.00)

Banded-halter

This tribal inspired bikini from Walmart is perfect for busty babes on a budget. The thick halter ties and banded waist provides ample support and stunning shaping for large chests. The higher waisted, string-tied bottoms provide coverage for extra comfort. The colorful chevron pattern is fun and fashion-forward.
(Walmart. Top: $10.96 Bottoms: $10.96)

Hey there! My name is Samantha Stern and I'm a graduating senior of mass communication with a concentration on magazine journalism at the University of South Florida. I've been writing for Her Campus USF since January 2013 and this semester I was appointed editor-in-chief of the online publication. Life is a stressful thing and I want to provide a means of escape and self- improvement for young women, as well as for myself, by writing fun, engaging and useful content accessible anytime and anywhere via the internet. My ultimate goal is to empower women in their 20's. Women are hungry for everyday life advice. They crave tips for achieving the ideal in money, intelligence, beauty, fashion, health and lifestyle. I will satiate their informational appetite and, more importantly, help them become their outright best by writing fun and practical content relevant to the modern 20-something.When I'm not writing you can find me reading magazines (duh!) and books, taking long, hot baths and exploring local haunts with friends and family.Feel free to follow we on Twitter @samantha__stern or check out my resume and portfolio by clicking here.
