What is your full name?

Amanda Lynn DiCicco

What is your major?

Entrepreneurship

What year are you in college?

Freshman (1st Year)

What are you involved in here at USFSP and what made you decide to get involved?

I am involved in Student Government, Entrepreneurship Club and the VIP tour guides program.

How far have you come since the fall semester?

I have come such a long way since I started college last year. I feel like I am more well-rounded and really never thought I’d be doing half the things I am today.

Were you in love with USFSP before you attended? Did you have a different expectation of it?

Yes!! I loved the entire culture of the campus and how it was right on the harbor. I expected it to be extremely overwhelming but was very pleased when I started and everyone was friendly and helpful with my transition.

What are your plans for the future of being involved on campus?

My future plans are to volunteer more with HAB and next summer apply to be an orientation leader.

What advice could you give freshmen about college?

Manage your time and try not to procrastinate. The college experience is way better when it is stress free.

What changes do you think our school needs? Or should it stay the way it is?

Since our school is becoming a more student centered school, I think we need to work on events and organizations that more students can be apart of. Also, bringing more traditions to campus that show off our diverse population.

What is one of the “Top 10 things to do” on your list before you die?

Start a non-profit for children or animals.

What motivates you to do your best?

When I achieve a goal it pushes me to want to try harder and raise the bar higher.

How has being involved in school helped you as an individual?

It has helped me branch out and connect to people I would have never known. It also has helped me become more confident in the work I produce.
