1. What is your favorite thing about USFSP? Why did you choose to come
here?
I came to USFSP for the harbor; I sit out by the water between my classes. College can
be stressful and if it gets to be too much for you, the harbor is a beautiful place to relax
and get a grasp on things. As of recently, our new bronze bull is one of my favorite
thing about the campus, along with the intimate size of the campus.
2. Where is your favorite place on campus?
The Harbor is definitely my favorite place on campus. Not to mention taking a girl down
there for the sunset is a cheap date.
3. What made you decided to get involved with Student Government- and
what is your position?
Student government is all about the students we serve, that’s why I got involved,
to make this campus the best it can be. I am the first Chief of Staff in the history of
USFSP, with that comes a lot of responsibility because I will be outlining the position
for the future of this campus. I have implemented policies to bring accountability to
student leaders with the ultimate goal of making this a great place for students to learn
and enjoy the best years of their lives!
4. What’s your favorite thing about being a Student Leader on campus?
Being a student leader means that I directly impact every student on this campus. As a
result I am helping to make everyone’s life here better while boosting my own résumé.
5. What’s your favorite TV show?
I don’t watch a whole lot of TV but my favorite show would have to be The Walking
Dead. My favorite character is Daryl. I relate with his character, because I was raised a
country boy.
6. What’s your favorite movie?
Tough question! One of my favorite movies is Fight Club mostly I love the twists in the
movie that keep you on the edge of your seat. I also really like The Butterfly Effect; It
is a very original movie that keeps you guessing. My favorite “chick flick” would have to
be Bridge to Terabithia, it’s the only movie that has made me cry!
7. What quote do you live by/what’s your favorite quote?
“Great minds discuss ideas. Average minds discuss events. Small minds discuss people.”
— Eleanor Roosevelt
My mother told me this quote when I was very young and I have used it as a guide,
really to live my life. That’s why you’ll never hear me talk about someone behind his or
her back. Instead I prefer to keep my mind active and discuss ideas how I can make
the world better.
8. What is something everyone should know about you?
I do not trust easily. So when I tell you “I trust you.” Please don’t make me regret it.
9. Are you currently dating anybody?
I am not in a relationship at this point, nor do I know if I want to be. I’m waiting for the
right person and/or the right situation.
