We couldn’t be more thrilled to work with U by Kotex on Generation Know, a program that empowers girls to be the first generation to commit to learning more about their health and bodies and to share that knowledge with others.  Generation Know features an online hub at GenerationKnow.com, a fun central location for girls to get the facts, learn from experts and get involved in projects designed to create social change. For every girl that gets involved with Generation Know by visiting www.generationknow.com, U by Kotex will donate $1, up to $500,000, to Girls For A Change, a national nonprofit organization, to fund educational trainings across the country and help girls create social change within their communities.
What’s even cooler is that U by Kotex has teamed up with Khloe Kardashian Odom to launch Generation Know, and I had the opportunity to interview Khloe about her involvement (and other projects like her TV shows and product lines!) in NYC last week, exclusively for Her Campus!
Check out my interview with Khloe below, where we chat about her latest projects and then play a fun myth/fact game in connection with Generation Know!
After my interview with Khloe, HC’s High School Editor Hannah Orenstein took to the streets (or rather, the quads!) with Chelsea Krost, Generation Know Advocate. Â They hit Marymount’s NYC campus and posted U by Kotex Generation Know myth posters on bulletin boards in popular locations all over campus, like the student center, on-campus cafe, classroom buildings, and other top hangout spots. Â The goal was to encourage collegiettes on campus to check out the posters while hanging out or walking across campus, to help educate them about women’s health topics and this phenomenal campaign.
Here are a couple shots of HC Editor Hannah and Generation Know Advocate Chelsea Krost posting around campus!
