Her Campus Emerson: What does your position in Fashion Society entail?
Dana Isernio: As the Vice President of Styling, I have to get my committee prepared for our events and live shows. I really wanted to create an energetic and relaxing environment for the girls. I want to get back to the basics of beauty & styling. Everyone needs to have a foundation to be able to build up from!
HCE: What events are coming up?
DI: Emersons Next Top Male Model Live Event is November 27th! And then Style Wars Live Competition which will be in Early December. They will be so much fun!
HCE: What is your favorite part of your position?
DI: My position allows me to take what I love in the fashion/beauty industry and relay it to everyone else. It is so important to create a leadership role through trust, and I love that I am given the opportunity to do that. It’s a little bit different to stand in front of my own peers and run a meeting, but it is so rewarding when our events come up and I see the amazing work everyone has put effort into! So, I guess that proud feeling is what I love the most!
HCE: What is your role for the EVVYs?
DI: I am the head stylist. We shot the promotional pictures a couple weeks ago, and we are moving towards the beginning video! It has been an amazing experience. Plus, being able to have my creative vision come to life the day of the show is going to be amazing.
HCE: What about for Style Wars?
DI: I am preparing/working with the styling team to get prepared for the live show. Also, E-board and myself have been planning out where/when/how the show will go, for a few weeks now. It is such an amazing experience, and I love that I have participated in it before, so I know what the stylists are going through!!
