Hotty Toddy Tailgate Trends

By: Jasmin Maastricht

International students, Marta Gasinska (L) and Jasmin Maastricht (R) (that’s me!) enjoy one of the last warmer days of the year in the Football Season.

So, as we know, Football Season is slowly coming to an end… luckily there are three games left of the season and two home games left to strut our stuff in The Grove. If you want to keep on top of the latest tailgate trends during the colder days, you must read this. IMMEDIATELY.  J

Step 1

Okay, so obviously we want to be warm. Well, the first thing we need is a pair of warm boots. But you can also wear ankle boots or heels for the daring.

Step 2

My personal favorite, to keep with Hotty Toddy spirit, is a red or blue knit or cotton dress with stockings. Like this:

Step 3

Okay so we pretty much have a full outfit, hmm… what about accessories?

You can find similar items in The Square in Oxford, just off campus. Try Miss Behavin, Nella, The Village Tailor and other great stores.

P.S. Don’t forget to add a nice (and warm) scarf, jacket for extra warmth (though, it’s not THAT cold yet) a knitted beret’ or beanie, and your all set!
