Does this Campus Cutie look familiar? That’s because you have probably seen him dribbling a ball down the soccer field or scoring the wining goal for numerous Brandeis games. But even though this midfielder is a soccer stud, he still loves it when his mom, dad, and family come to his games and he will readily admit his love for Taylor Swift. For these reasons and more, Sam Ocel is this week’s Campus Cutie.

What is one of your guilty pleasures?
I love music. My roommates and I have a Pandora station that’s called Michelle Branch radio. I really like girly music. I like Kesha.
I like that you will admit that though. A lot of guys won’t admit it.
He laughs.
If you were on a desert island what three things you would you bring?
This is tough. I would bring my computer, a life supply of my mom’s Italian pasta, and I would bring my friend Eric Root, because he could get me off the island. He is very resourceful; he is from Vermont so he knows all of that outdoors type of stuff. Actually, I should say I would bring Joe Eisenbies. (Eisenbies is a fellow teammate.)
Why, is he not resourceful?
No, it’s just funny.
Do you have any hidden talents?
Just say I am a singer. I have a beautiful voice. (He smiles.)
