Campus Celebrity: Justin Bieber

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Conn Coll chapter.

For all of you who have been wondering about the mystery “Bieber at Conn” — well, here’s the time to indulge yourselves. Renown across the world for his invigorating charm, cuteness, and overall talent – it’s no wonder we’re so excited to have Justin Bieber “at Conn” as this week’s Campus Celebrity. Despite his fame and unbeatable swag, young Bieber chose to attend Connecticut College out of all the institutions he could have been accepted to..how interesting. Let’s hear what he has to say about being a Freshman at Conn and balancing his career as a superstar.

Name: Justin Bieber
Hometown: Stratford – Ontario, Canada
Year: Class of 2016
Major: Music/Performing Arts

As a famous celebrity, what’s it like attending Connecticut College? Yo, this semester is mad chill. I gotta say, I don’t get as many “shout-outs” as I thought. Only 2,000 kids but I feel like one of the bros.

We heard you got sick on stage during the first concert for your “Believe” tour. How did you overcome this embarrassing moment? It was no biggie, I just swagged it off. Brotip: Don’t eat a whole Taco Bell Party Pack.

Clearly there are many beautiful ladies at Conn. How do you keep a long-distance relationship strong with Selena? Sexting.

Do you have any advice on love and relationships that would be useful for Conn students? The hookup culture is pretty intense here. Just keep it real. Cro dances are fun, but don’t be lookin’ for anything too legit. But never say never…

Tell us your “go-to” Conn outfit. White T, red pants, and a leather jacket. I always top it off with a scarf. When you’re cardboard, it’s hard to change clothes, so I’ve learned to accessorize.

Which would you pick: Truth or Dare? DARE.

If you could be any person in the world, other than yourself, who or what would you be? John Stamos. His hair is dope and he gets all the ladies.

Will you be annoyed or flattered if people dress up like you for Halloween? Well, they can try, but they can’t ever top this level of swag. I was thinking of being a ghost.

Describe the perfect date. Well, it would start with a helicopter ride from Tempel Green to my waiting yacht where she and I would feast on caviar and fresh fondu infused with gold from King Tut’s tomb, surrounded by flowers I had flown in that morning. As we float into the sunset, we cuddle and tell each other secrets. And maybe, if I’m lucky, we’ll kiss.

What’s your favorite song (of your own) and tell us how it relates to your experience at Connecticut College. “All Around The World” cuz I’ve already met a bunch of cool biddies from all different places I’ve been touring at. Keep on, keepin’ it real.

Describe Conn in one word. #Swaggie.
