Her Campus College Fashion Week Kickoff

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Emerson chapter.

Lights, camera, fashion! On September 29th college fashionistas from all over gathered in Boston for College Fashion Week 2012. The event was hosted at The Estate, a nightclub on Boylston street in downtown Boston. Not able to attend? Here’s the scoop on the night!

Attendees were greeted by a step and repeat where collegiates were able to show off their outfits and pearly whites.

Partiers were given Back-to-School Survival Kits with some fabulous products including
Svelte, Her Campuses favorite on-the-go protein shake
Assorted U by Kotex products
A package of Stevia In The Raw
Luna Bars
A Classy Cup from Her Campus Shop
A gift card good for a FREE burrito, burrito bowl, salad or order of tacos at Chipotle
A discount code good for $100 off any styling tool from NuMe
Assorted ScĂĽnci hair products
Delicious (and healthy!) candy bars from UNREAL candy.

While snacking on Pinkberry, Chipotle, and UNREAL candies, collegiates were treated to a great lineup of labels like LeSportsac, as well as some local Boston brands like up-and-comer Rusted Revolution (started by BC grads), along with other student designers. The runway show was comprised of awesome looks for the most important college occasions: the gym, class, weekend, and formals.

The Dear Abbeys, an a cappella group from Boston University, serenaded the ladies–and boy did we enjoy it!

Check out this fabulous event in Ann Arbor, Michigan, Raleigh, N.C., and Santa Barbara, California.
