Meet Annie, from Pittsburgh, Pa., a junior here at Penn State, majoring in PR and minoring in business & psychology. Right now Annie is the Social Chair for her sorority Chi Omega, the Promotions Manager for The Black Sheep, Social Chair and street team member of Victoria’s Secret PINK at Penn State, Peer Mentor for the College of Communications, Greek Life Liaison and Leasing Ambassador for The Retreat: State College, and finally Sales Associate at Urban Outfitters. Don’t worry, we’re thinking the same thing, how does she do it all?
HC: Name a talent of yours that you are most proud of.
Annie: I’m really good at talking to people I don’t know. I can pull anything out of thin air and could probably talk to a wall if I wanted to — definitely a skill that comes in handy in the real world.
HC: What is your favorite accessory?
Annie: I absolutely love scarves. They literally can make any outfit cute and when you’re running out the door it’s the perfect thing to just throw on. So needless to say, I own about a thousand.
HC: Name something you can’t live without.
Annie: I know it’s so cliché, but I cannot live without coffee. I’m actually a caffeine addict, and I’m zombie until I’ve had my coffee in the morning!
HC: What is your favorite Penn State memory?
Annie: My favorite memory is the White-Out night game against Michigan during my freshman year. I had just gotten into my sorority, Chi O and I will never forget how much fun I had that day and the pride everyone had in our school. It was, hands down, one of the best days of my life.
HC: Describe your dream guy.
Annie: James Franco look-a-like. That’s my only qualification. Oh, and I guess a good personality would be a plus, too.
HC: What is your lifetime goal?
Annie: To work in either entertainment or special events PR in either NYC or LA. Honestly, as long as I’m doing something I love in a place that I love, I’ll be happy.
