Name: John Ezaki
Hometown: Kingsburg, CA
Year: 2014
Major: Integrative Biology
Her Campus: What are you involved in on campus?
John Ezaki: Cal Tri Club and Cal Habitat for Humanity.
HC: When you aren’t swimming, running, and biking where can you be found?
JE: My bed.
HC: What are you planning on doing after college?
JE: I’m going to work for National Geographic. That’s my dream job at least. I mean, it would be so cool. You get to travel the world for free and play with animals.
HC: So Kingsburg, eh? Have you ever considered being a farmer?
JE: YES ACTUALLY! I used to work at a strawberry stand in the summer with my best friend so I actually did definitely consider going into farming.
HC: Now that you have real technology, what are your favorite TV shows?
JE: My All-Time favorite has to be Arthur. I legitimately watched that show until junior year of high school. It’s just such an awesome concept. Currently though, my favorite show is Dexter. The whole Rita situation still makes me tear up a bit, but the whole Dexter and Deb being in love and siblings but in real life being divorced I really just can’t handle.
HC: How about bands? What’s your jam?
JE: Justin Bieber. HUGE fan.
HC: If your mom had to describe you in one word, what would she say?
JE: Awesome. I wish she were here right now to give you a little side interview.
HC: If you could meet any celebrity who would it be?
JE: I don’t have that one person I’d like to meet but I think my top five would be something like Justin Bieber, Anne Hathaway, Jesus, Abraham Lincoln and George Washington. I feel like that would be a good mix.
HC: Where would you take them?
JE: The possibilities are endless, but I definitely have to go with Taco Bell.
HC: Do you have any weird human tricks you can do like wiggle your ears or bend something really strangely?
JE: It’s not really a trick, but my tongue is attached to the bottom of my mouth and I can barely stick it out. The Tri[athlon] world would call it my “butt tongue.”
