On April 19th, I headed to Fenway Park with my boyfriend, an expert Red Sox fan, for the Fenway Park Open House. In celebration of Fenway’s 100th birthday, the park was open for tours and access to exclusive areas all day. Though I’ve only been a Sox fan since coming to Massachusetts for college, I loved the opportunity to see such a historic park up close. Check out what we saw!
A gorgeous view of Fenway with the Boston skyline in the background.
After waiting in a long line, we were finally able to go on the field!
The Green Monster was a major destination for fans—it was even open to look inside for those who got there early enough.
Yawkey Way was packed with Red Sox fans, eager to explore Fenway.
Getting to go inside the press box on the 5th level was one of my favorite parts of the day. The view was picture-perfect.
Fenway Park is an incredible place, full of history, fans, and passion. The Red Sox have called it home since 1912 and I look forward to watching many more years of exciting games!
