What’s your plan for after graduation: Enjoying my last summer by traveling and partying as much as possible, then attending med school at SUNY Upstate and becoming an emergency medicine physician after 8 long years, and hopefully finding time to get my progressive metal band, Conatus, back together.

What’s been your biggest act of heroics?: I’ve saved many lives as a volunteer EMT, but I think all the time I’ve spent volunteering for the SPCA and Veterinarians to help the poor puppies get healthy and be happy and find good homes has been far more heroic (to me at least).

What did you have for lunch today? The same thing I have for every meal, an entire tube of raw cookie dough.

Idea of the most kick-ass first date: Hiking and climbing mountains in the morning and afternoon, then going to the beach for swimming and a cookout. We will of course be making smores and watching the sunset together too, and then go back home for movies and maybe some cuddling if she plays her cards right. And my dog has to go everywhere with us too, cause he’s such a fun and adventurous little puppy!

I am from a small town outside of Syracuse, New York. In high school, I ran Cross Country and track where I competed in the 100m hurdles, 4x1, 200m and many other events. I now attend SUNY Oswego and I am majoring in journalism and anthropology. I have recently added a minor in health science because of my passion for health and fitness. Last semester, I wrote a health and fitness blog for Her Campus Oswego. I currently work as a personal trainer on campus. I love readings, writing, skiing, running, and I am a major shop-aholic! KM <3
