·         Caroline Constas, Stephanie Otto, and Aimee Kellner launched their line in 2010 to target the young working girl that is fashion conscious and enjoys following current trends. Their goal is to create styles that are comfortable, yet stylish for a professional setting or for a night out. These designers sought success when Nordstrom purchased items from one of their first collections.

·         Dana designs menswear in unique silhouettes and various shades. Based in New York, this Canadian native focuses on several aspects while designing her line. When asked during an interview what the key elements mattered to her most, she responded, “I’ve come to accept that I really don’t like designing with seams or lines. I’d say my work is more defined by texture, color, finishing, the overall feeling of the garment. So I try to develop those elements as much as possible.”

·         Although Parkinson has been in business for over a decade, he is finally getting the recognition he deserves, climbing to the top list of upcoming designers. He was selected as one of the few American designers to showcase his work in Paris, working with Manolo Blahnik on a shoe collection for the spring 2012 season. Parkinson’s non-color spring collection was featured during Fashion Week, displaying a variety of fabrics such as tweed, organza, voiles, and cotton laces.
 
 

Stephanie Taylor is originally from Detroit, Michigan and moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma with her parents when she was sixteen. Five years later, she is now a senior at Oklahoma State University majoring in news-editorial with a minor in English. Her three passions are writing, fashion and music. Stephanie loves telling other peoples' stories and seeing her words come to life. In the future, she will be an editor in chief of a young women's magazine and a screenwriter. She currently holds the title of Miss Black OSU and volunteers with different organizations for young women and for mentally and physically disabled young adults. Stephanie has been accused of trying to save the world, which always makes her smile. In response to that, she says she just wants to do all she can with all she has in the time she has on the earth.
