Easter is just around the corner and with that comes the perfect opportunity to be festive all weekend long! Obviously, JMU will be celebrating in a variety of ways because we are almost too spirited for our own good. With that being said, I’m going to pretend I’m as qualified as Whitney Port and Lauren Conrad and throw some questionable fashion advice your way.
Â
To cut to the chase, I’m rooting for everybody to dress up ridiculously when they go out this weekend. The next three ideas below would be ideal for a themed party.  For starters, if you’re looking to be the life of the party, wear a full body bunny suit. It’s a great icebreaker and most people really appreciate that kind of stuff.
This dedication comes with consequences. If you’re anywhere remotely near a residential area, you might be flagged for suspicious activity. Even worse, if you’re in a mall, you will be bombarded by overbearing parents who are looking to fling their child on your lap for the timeless Easter picture. Don’t say you haven’t been warned.
Another option, if your mom is blocked from your Facebook pictures, you could pull a Regina George bunny outfit (and by mom, I don’t mean your sorority pledge mom, I mean the one that lives in NOVA).
My last idea involving a bunny outfit would be dressing up as the energizer bunny. Clever, I know… Here are the ingredients for this one: a pink onesie and sunglasses. If you can find a small drum, that would help play the role— oh, and carry batteries.   Â
Now, here are some more reasonable outfit ideas:
– Â Tie-dye a white shirt/draw stripes on it and go as an Easter egg.
– Â Wear a headband with bunny ears on it
–  Hop on over to Moxie and check out the selection of crop tops, shorts, hats, and more — they all have the bunny logo!
– Â Â And most importantly – PASTELS! Â
These shades are very fashionable this spring. As Lauren Conrad says, “I love the feminine appeal of pastels and this season they’re more popular than ever.” Here are two must-have pastels for your wardrobe…
