Bryan Rooney, a key member of the men’s ice hockey team, is a well known student athlete here at Stonehill. Bryan was able to take a few moments out of his busy schedule to chat with us about some of his favorite things, like Happy Gilmore and Town Spa pizza.

I am currently in a relationship. We are coming up on 5 months together.
What is the most romantic thing you’ve done for a girl?
The day I asked my girlfriend out, I got her a dozen red roses.
If you could be a character from any movie, who would you be?
I’m going to go with Denzel Washington from “Remember the Titans” because he has so many good sayings and quotes throughout that movie that I myself would personally love to use. I want to be a coach when I’m older, so I envision myself being like him.
Who is your favorite singer?
I’m a big fan of Michael Jackson because I have great dance moves just like him.
If you were sorted into a house at Hogwarts, what house would you want to be in?
I would definitely want to be in Gryffindor because Harry Potter was in that house.
Who is your favorite athlete?
Nathan Horton of the Boston Bruins is my favorite athlete, I’ve always been a big fan of him The way he plays the game, the way he handles himself off the ice, he’s really a true team player, so that’s something that I really love about him
