A Quick Guide to Spring Denim

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at JMU chapter.

Whether it is Gap’s new clothing line or Urban Outfitters’ eclectic collection, bright colored denim is huge for spring! Born out of the huge color-blocking trend that swept the Spring 2012 fashion runways, bright colored bottoms are everywhere and in demand.

Most recently, designers have started to re-interpret this brave trend and use their own creative liberty to expand such denim styles to incorporate wild prints and fabric impressions.

This is the year to fully take advantage of color. It has been a while since the fashion industry has taken to incorporating the rainbow into just about every marketable item. Dress up or dress down; dress to match your mood; dress to be different; dress to feel great this spring.

Check out some of these amazing denim pieces and fall in love with a pair that you can make all your own…
