In East Lansing, we are used to things being green. From football Saturdays to all the “Be Green” recycling initiatives but unless you’ve been around for St. Patrick’s Day, you haven’t seen anything yet.
The first weekend back from spring break and we are all ready for another break; the weather forecast is calling for sunshine and 76 degrees; and there’s the added bonus of St. Patty’s falling on a Saturday this year what more could you ask for in the last homestretch of the semester?
I’m here to help you make your day as memorable (or forgettable) as possible with a play-by-play of what all of your favorite East Lansing bars are doing to celebrate the day.
Here’s the list: Rick’s, Harper’s, The Riv, PT O’Malley’s, Peanut Barrell, Dublin’s and Lou & Harry’s. ALL of our beloved East Lansing bars are opening at 7 am to ensure your St. Patrick’s Day will last as long as possible. If you want to know what each bar will be doing to celebrate the day, continue reading.
