Basic Fashion Necessities for Spring Break

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Bentley chapter.

Check out our tips for a fashionable Spring Break!

Skip the boring bikini and go with something bright and fun like this blue polka-dot bikini.

Go with something casual and cute like this classic white tank top and jean shorts. The little embellishment on the back ofthe tank gives it enough flare to make you stand out but it’s also a versatile outfit that you can wear anywhere.

When heading to the beach, the easiest thing to wear is a cover-up that you can take on and off easily. Pretty much anything goes here, just make sure it has a little somethign special. The cover-up below has an interest print and can be worn day or night.

This cover-up has fun tassels at the end to give this oversized t-shirt a little something extra.

Mix and match that white tank top from earlier with a flowy short skirt for the ideal dinner outfit. It will keep you from looking like you just left the beach but also seem casual and effortless.

This sun dress is the perfect outfit to bring. When paired with different shoes and accessories, it can take you pretty much everywhere. From the beach to a classy dinner, this dress will barely take up any room in your suitcase will be the perfect staple to your Spring Break wardrobe.

I know we’re all tempted to bring every pair of shoes we own with us on vacation, but this is all you really need. A pair of flip flops is a must and going with a neutral color like white or black is the best. A pair of flats is also a good thing to have to dress up your look a little and to top it all off, bring a pair of killer high heels or wedges to take your look from beach to party.

And last but not least, don’t forget to bring your sunglasses and a colorful purse with you. These are two things that you’ll need whether it’s day or night.

Now that you’ve done all this prep, pack your bag (hopefully it’s not too big) and you’re all set to enjoy your spring break. Have fun, collegiettes!
