Hangovers Ana Roll

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Tulane chapter.

They happen to the best of us. For some they happen every weekend and for others they’re a rare occurrence. Either way, hangovers happen and on most occasions they’re the worst feeling in the world. You wake up with your head pounding, a dry mouth, and a very strong possibility of throwing up. Some make a run for it, others head to the fridge for a combination of water and Powerade, and then there are those who close their eyes and roll over avoiding the dilemma entirely.
As you lay there evaluating your situation, you ask yourself why? Why did I drink so much? Why was that a good idea? Why did I not learn from last weekend? Alternatively, you promise to never drink again and then start trying to recreate the night and determining how many questionable decisions you made.
The key to surviving the hangover/the morning after is to finding what combination works for you. Keep your Brita full and some saltines on hand at all times. There’s nothing worse than being thirsty and without something to quench it. Keep in mind that drinking is a lot like running, you’re sore the next day but you’re happy you did it. This is hangovers Ana roll.
