Gordie Bailey SFS ’14

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Georgetown chapter.

Name:
Gordie Bailey
School and Year: SFS 2014
Relationship Status: Tied Down
Hometown: Westwood, MA

I heard you were really excited about this? Why?
I wanted my greatness to be recognized. Just kidding. But actually I’m not sure about “really,” maybe more like mildly.

Write an acrostic poem for yourself:

Gregarious
Open
Romantic
Delicious
Independent
Entertaining

What is your signature look?
Probably khakis, boat shoes, and a solid color t-shirt or button-down. So I’m extremely easy to pick out of a crowd of Georgetown students. Oh and when it’s cold or raining a Barbour, so that helps.

If you were a wild animal, what would you be and why?
A polar bear. Polar bears are the best. I could cuddle with myself all day.

What is the kinkiest thing you have ever done?
My hand brushed against a girl’s thigh by accident once.

Describe yourself in three words:
Friendly, Unserious, and Unique

What is your specialty drink?
Gin and tonic, or Jameson and ginger ale

What song would you serenade a girl with?
No one wants me to try to serenade them, but I suppose if I could actually sing it would be “She’s Always a Woman” by Billy Joel

Who is your celebrity doppelganger?
Well when I was in high school one girl I knew told me that her mom described me as “the fourth Jonas brother.” I still don’t really what to think of that, and I definitely don’t see the resemblance, but that’s the only time I’ve been compared to any celebrities so I guess my celebrity doppelgangers are Nick, Joe, and Kevin.

Describe your perfect Georgetown girl:
Meghan Borden – I like girls that don’t take themselves too seriously and can make me laugh. If we can talk about nothing in particular for a long time, that’s always a good sign.

Boxers or briefs?
Boxers. You want freedom, but not too much.

What makes you different than other guys at Georgetown?
I’m still pretty childish, and sort of wish I was still a child. Last year my roommate and I watched The Jungle Book and the Disney version of Robin Hood when we were really hungover (it made us happier). I also know all the words to “I’ll Make a Man Out of You” from Mulan. I hope that doesn’t sound too weird because those are three amazing movies.

What are three songs on your hookup playlist?

           1. I Like You So Much Better When You’re Naked – Ida Maria
           2. Your Love’s a Drug –  Leighton Meester
           3. Whatever You Like – Anya Marina

Give us your best Cosmo sex tip:
Be spontaneous. I know that’s not very specific but as a general guideline t think it’s the most valuable advice I can give.

Have you ever had a crush on a professor? If so, who?
Never a real crush, but I didn’t mind looking at Professor Arsenault, who taught my international relations class last semester.

What is the most romantic thing you have done for Meghan?
The first time we had Valentine’s Day as a couple she was in New York for the weekend and we weren’t going to see each other until she got back late in the day, so I ordered flowers from a shop in New York to be delivered to her hotel room that morning. The card just said “I love you” on it.

Best place to hook up on campus?
My room at 3609 O St.

Who is your celebrity crush?
Candice Swanepoel

What is your biggest turn on?
I’m a big fan of kisses on the back of the neck

If your sex life were a movie, what would the title be?
The Fast and the Furious

If you instantly turned into a woman for a day, how would you spend that day?
Probably sitting in class or Saxby’s online shopping. I don’t really know what else girls do.
