HC: What kind of activities are you involved with on campus?
NR: I’ve been pretty involved with Big Brothers, Big Sisters in Lafayette since my freshman year. I also play intramural tennis and pride myself on keeping the Union Starbucks in business.
HC: What do you do in your free time?
NR: I work in Indianapolis, so that takes up a lot of my time outside of classes, but I do play guitar, hang out with friends, and practice bar stool philosophy. I also enjoy tossing the disk (Frisbee) when it’s warm. And when I’m feeling ambitious, I write.
HC: What’s one thing on your Purdue Bucket List?
NR: I really like golf, so to play on the Kampen course on the Purdue golf complex.
HC: What’s a recent album you can’t stop listening to?
NR: Codes and Keys by Death Cab for Cutie.
HC: What’s the worst pick-up line you’ve ever used?
NR: Well, all my pick-ups have worked so far, so apparently I haven’t used a bad one yet.
HC: Favorite meal?
NR: Any kind of authentic Mexican food.
HC: What’s the first thing you notice about a girl?
NR: Her facial expressions.
HC: What is one thing about yourself that you wish people know upon meeting you?
NR: I seem quiet, but I’m just an observer rather than a talker.
HC: Favorite quote?

HC: What’s one weird fact about you?
NR: I have a titanium face.
HC: Could we have some explanation for that last one?
NR: I played baseball in high school, and at a game I took a pitch to the face. I ended up breaking my cheek and orbital bone, so they had to replace part of it with titanium. The ball also shattered my nose, also got a nose job out of the hit, too.
