Hey Campus Cuties! It’s almost Valentine’s Day, and even if you’re watching your banking account or can’t think of anything to do, here are 10 great, affordable gift/date ideas for that special lady in your life!
1. Make a CD of songs that she enjoys or songs that mean something to you both. She will really appreciate the effort, and PLUS it show that you really that you pay attention to what she listens to.
2. Buy some of her favorite candy, cookies, etc. and put them in a basket with a beautiful red bow.
3. Buy DVD that you two can watch on Valentine’s Day or for a “Save-the-Date” day if you want your relationship to extend pass Valentine’s Day.
4. A walk through Colonial Williamsburg that culminates with a coffee at Aroma’s or frozen yogurt at Berrybody.
5. If you want to be traditional, The Flower Cupboard has half dozen roses for only $15! What a steal!
6. Make a coupon book of things you will do for her. If the relationship is just starting out put in simple things like a study date in Swem, a dinner date at the Marketplace, or a coffee date at the Grind. If you two have been together for a while, it the coupons could be tailored to fit what she likes and desires.
7. Decorate her door or car! This will totally surprise her and it’s something that she can keep, and she can show off to all her friends how romantic you are.
8. Take a ride on the Jamestown Ferry. It’s super romantic and totally FREE! You and your special lady can have a little alone time and enjoy the scenery along the river.
9. Bowling at the AMF Lanes! Bowling is an absolutely no pressure date. You two can have fun and get to know each other, and maybe even add in a little friendly competition.
10. Buy about 10 red balloons and on each balloon write 10 things that you like about your special lady. This will surely make her swoon and show her how much you like her!
