On Saturday night, January 7th, 2012, Beyonce and Jay- Z welcomed their daughter Blue Ivy Carter into the world. The couple spent $1.3 million to renovate a private wing in the hospital for their newborn, which included a bulletproof door for Beyonce’s room. Jay has already started rhymin’ about his beautiful baby girl. He released the song “Glory” dedicated to his daughter, with lyrics flowin’ such as “You’re the child of destiny, you’re the child of my destiny, you’re my child with the child from Destiny’s Child.” Congratulations to Beyonce & Jay-Z!
