La Peirce Princesa: More than Midnight Breakfast

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Kenyon chapter.

Ever heard of www.foodporndaily.com? Well here it is: the Peirce version, finals week edition. In lieu of studying, I have decided to direct my creative energy toward the following creations. This time it’s sandwiches…next time, who knows! I’ve included the “recipe” for each, so whip these up for yourself this week to treat yo’self finals styleā€”because Midnight Breakfast may not cut it.

Open faced “tartine” (le pain quotidien anyone?) on toasted swiss multigrain with cheddar, provolone, spinach, cucumbers, pickles, tomatoes, and red onion with a dijon mayonnaise aioli

Toasted swiss multigrain with melted swiss cheese, spinach, over easy eggs, salt and pepper

Half an everything bagel with cream cheese, tomato, white onion, spinach, salt, pepper and swiss cheese

Toasted english muffin with turkey bacon, lettuce, tomato, provolone cheese, and dijon mustard

May these nourish you through the rest of your projects, exams, and that Good Nukes, Bad Nukes paper!

Caroline Black is a senior Drama major at Kenyon College. In addition to co-founding and writing for her school's HC branch, Caroline is co-president of Beer and Sex, Kenyon's student-run freshman orientation program (and she enjoys making jokes about that title as much as you do). When she's not doing hippy-dippy acting warm-ups or volunteering with her service organization, The Archon Society, Caroline enjoys watching "Parks and Recreation" and dismaying her friends with terrible puns.
