Things to Remember During Exam Week

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at App State chapter.

Unfortunately, before we can enjoy the most wonderful time of the year, we have to endure the worst… exam week! There are very few students that aren’t sleepless and stressed about finishing the year off strong. But don’t let exam week get the best of you! Here are a few things to remember while you’re studying your life away.

  1. Sometimes sleep is more important than studying.
  2. Chocolate cures an upsetting grade. Professor Lupin approved!
  3. There’s someone in your class who’s going to get a worse grade than you. (Hopefully!)
  4. When you graduate, employers don’t generally look at your grades – they look at your degree!
  5. Eat well! Food = energy. Energy = more studying. More studying = better grades.
  6. Taking a break will help you focus and reenergize. Don’t be afraid to meet up with your friends for dinner!
  7. As I always say, “Cs get degrees!”
  8. Peppermint helps you concentrate… do White Grasshoppers from the Wired Scholar count?
  9. Working out helps relieve stress. Try having your study break at the gym instead of scrolling away on Facebook.
  10. You’re almost done! You can do it!

Good luck, collegiettes!
