Zoe’s Style Blog: Scarving for Attention!

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at OSU chapter.

One of the hottest, boldest trends and one of my personal favorites is the current color trend—and what better way to rock it than a scarf!  Scarves are essential accessories for winter—and thanks to this trend, they’re now as cute as they are functional.

The perfect complement to everything from stylish coats to feminine dresses and attention-grabbing accessories, scarves come in tons of different styles and colors.  The secret about scarves is simple: their simplicity!  They are warm, stylish, comfortable, and versatile.  Whether the outfit is casual or dressy, this accessory will be sure to add extra flare.

This winter bold colors, as well as dark browns and blacks, are trending.  If you want to spice up your outfit even more, consider a patterned scarf.  And don’t forget about the most popular version seen on campus: the knitted scarf!

Although the scarf is a very common trend, the amount of options it comes in are endless—so use one today to help define your personal style.  Whether it’s wearing a bright yellow or a subtle crème scarf, make sure to find the best pattern that expresses you!  The fun yet cozy trend is sure to be the most popular accessory on campus this winter!
