1. Flipboard
FlipBoard started out as a news app for strictly for the iPad, but has now come out with a version compatible with the iPhone.  It works as “your (pocket-sized) social magazine” by allowing you to browse through the day’s top news stories, and feeds from your own Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, and 500px streams.Â
2. Evernote ‘Hello’
Ever scroll through the contacts on your phone and wonder who half those people are? Well, with Evernote’s Hello app, you’ll never have that problem again. Hello allows users to easily remember encounters by letting you create a basic profile on your friend’s phone, complete with a personalized photo, your Twitter account, email, and phone number. Â
3. Nike Training Club App
The Nike Training Club app is “your personal trainer, anytime, anywhere.” Gain access to over 60 full-body workouts developed by Nike professional trainers. Choose a workout based on your goals and workout level (options range from “get lean” with high interval cardio drills” to “get focused” 15-minute workouts that target specific body areas). NTC also gives you instructions on how to do the drills step-by-step and has video demos of each exercise. The app also lets you pick a playlist to keep up your pace.Â
4. Mint
Mint is a great way to start managing your money. According to the site, Mint “brings all your financial accounts together online or on your mobile device, autmotically categorzies your transactions, lets you set budgets and helps you acheive your savings goals.” Quickly and securely you can view all your accounts in one place.  You’ll also receive alerts of suspicius transcaitons. Mint finds ways for you to spend smarter and makes personlaized recommendations how to save. It’s currently the best free way to manage your money.
5. Foodgawker
Foodgawker is a great site to browse through photos of food and find delcious recipes. You can get the compatible iPhone app here. With this app, quickly browse through hundreds of mouth-watering photos of food submitted by food bloggers worldwide. A new feature on the app is the ability to shake your phone to randomize a thumbnail photo.Â
