We often think of UIC as a school of science. Many people travel to the medical district to finish their schooling as a nurse, doctor, or even pharmacist. And while there are wide ranges of other majors, these seem to be the most popular. But, what we also forget is that the city is home to some of the greatest centers for the arts in the entire state, or even country. UIC is home to some of the most artistic and influential art students/ alumni, and they are willing to share all of these experiences with you!
Â
If you have a ratty old T-shirt that you’re looking to revamp, bring it down to Gallery 400, and you’ll get to pick from two awesome designs by a UIC alum!
Â
There will also be free pizza, drinks, prizes, and more! The gallery often has many other exhibitions that you can gain access to, so don’t forget to ask about them!
