This is one for all you students out there dreaming of a wardrobe filled with Christian Louboutin’s, Isabel Marant and all of the glamour fashion has to offer. We are all striving for a unique style that is representative of the way we want people to think of us. But being unique, and looking great while doing so isn’t always easy. But today help is just a few clicks away. We all need some help finding inspiration and what easier way than reading a couple of great blogs? ?Blogging is huge these days, and the good thing about it is that there are unlimited different individuals out there, all wanting to share their style, tips and looks with YOU! I picked out a couple of my personal favorites; hopefully they will give you as much joy as they give me!
1. www.carolinesmode.com
The Swedish blogger Caroline Blomst has created an amazing universe of fashion and blogs through “Carolines Mode”. She has a gift for mixing affordable with high fashion, and the result is always stunning. My favorite part of her blog is however: www.carolinesmode.com/stockholmstreetstyle StockholmStreetstyle snaps looks from all the major fashion capitals of the world, and this is where I find most of my inspiration. It is truly a one-of-a-kind street style blog that is definitely worth looking into.?
2. www.thesartorialist.com
The founder, photographer and blogger Scott Schuman started this blog with a vision to create a doorway from the fashion world to its relationship to daily life. This blog is also all about street style, which I love! It is so much easier to be inspired by actual humans who put pieces together with their own creativity, than seeing them on size 0 models on the runway! “The Sartorialist” is without a doubt one of the best in its field, and every fashionista out there should know about this one!
3. www.manrepeller.com
I recently started reading this blog, but I’m already hooked! Leandra Medine is the creator of it, and she has such a great way of mixing humor, great writing and fashion! Her blog is all about style, and helping you get it! She also puts a funny twist on pieces like harem pants and extreme platforms – what women wear, but men hate, hence the name “Man Repeller”. My favorite part about her style is her jewelry, especially her love for “arm parties” of stacked bracelets. She also posts great sites for online shopping where you can get good stuff for cheap money. Bingo! Exactly what us college girls need!
4. www.thebeautydepartment.com
This site is AMAZING! It’s the ultimate guide to beauty! I promise you, any questions you have regarding makeup, hair, nails, skin, and so on, will be covered here. The geniuses behind it are Kristin Ess, Amy Nadine and last but not least, Lauren Conrad (Yes, the one and only)! Every day they release new tips, video tutorials and great images for inspiration. This site will become holy to you, bible!
I hope these four sites will be as helpful to you as they have been for me! Enjoy!
