Mark Caprio is a sophomore at PC but in the two years he has been here, he has managed to stand out in the crowd, holding onto the title of Class President since freshman year, and securing an internship at the Attorney General’s Office. We will certainly see more success stories from Mark in the coming years. He has taken some time out of his busy schedule to answer a few questions for us.

What made you want to get involved in Student Congress? It’s what I did in high school and it’s always been something I liked to get involved in. I loved taking on the role and responsibility of leadership.Â
Is it difficult to balance your hectic schedule? Yes, it’s very hard but I’ve learned to give up on sleep.
What advice would you give to someone who is trying to get involved around campus? Honestly, it is pretty easy getting involved at PC. There are numerous opportunities to go to information sessions and open forums…every club here is willing to take people. As long as you’re willing to approach them regarding something you’re interested in, there’s no stopping you. What do you do on your off time for fun? I either take naps or play basketball or football. I tend to blast music on the quad and look at pictures of my dog because I really miss him. I also put panda slippers on and walk up and down the halls to see what people have to say about me.
What reactions have you gotten to the panda slippers? All the girls I’ve spoken to so far say they’re absolutely adorable. And some guys too. I’ve never really gotten a bad reaction to the panda slips.
Do you want to study abroad? Yes, either London or China. It connects with the panda slippers.
How much time do you spend on Facebook? Irrelevant question. I’m always on Facebook, there is no time period. It’s on while I do my homework
What’s your favorite event to be involved with at PC? I’m really excited to help out with Junior Ring Weekend, which is the biggest event at PC. They’ve started planning everything out already so it’s going to be fantastic.
Who would you want to play you in a movie of your life? Christopher Walken.
