Trinity students all know and love Dennis and Tony; two familiar faces at the Trinity College Post Office who help students unlock their tricky mailboxes and receive packages smoothly while conveniently offering other postal services. With witty senses of humor and the ability to manage long lines of students during lunch hours, Dennis and Tony are certainly staples of the Trinity community. This week, Her Campus celebrates our friendly and very helpful Campus Celebrities.
How long have you worked at the Trinity College Post Office?
Dennis: “15 years”
Tony: “13 years”
If you could have one superpower, what would it be?
Dennis: “[I’d be] the man of steel!”
Tony: “I’d be able to make money appear.”
Can you remember any funny post office moments?
Dennis: “I remember a few years ago when a guy’s grandma mailed him a bowl of soup. Of course it spilled everywhere, but it was still hilarious.”
Tony: “I remember one Valentine’s Day; a guy sent his girlfriend a humongous, 20-foot wide cookie. I think he paid $170 for it. I thought it was stupid. I’d never pay that much for a cookie!”
