Lose the Freshman 15: SUCCESS! I lost 15 lbs!

This is a sponsored feature. All opinions are 100% from Her Campus.

I can’t believe it. Today’s weigh-in has brought me to my short-term goal of losing the infamous “Freshman 15.”d8172534

That’s right! I lost two pounds last week and am 15 pounds lighter, all thanks to the Jump Start Diet!

But of course, it’s not just about the numbers. It’s about feeling good and seeing results. This past week, wedding dress shopping helped me see that my waist was getting tinier. But honestly (and maybe it’s insecurities talking), I wasn’t sure if it was just the corset back that made it look that way. So, I decided to really look back at pictures and see if I noticed the difference.

Oh boy. There is a difference.

Now, I wouldn’t say I’m fashionable, but I do have my own personal style. If it’s one thing I’m known for, it’s my overuse of baggy clothes/dresses with belts. I just love belts. I can’t help it!

Well the other day, I noticed that one of my favorite brown, woven belts was much looser than usual. In fact, I could make it a whole lot tighter than I’ve ever had before.  I couldn’t believe it! Where I used to barely have any excess belt showing, I now had over an inch!

Talk about seeing results. When wearing one of my favorite casual dresses, I can’t help but look at pictures a2183ed5almost a year apart and drop my jaw. There is a difference in my waist size!

As you may have noticed, I do need to lose more than 15 lbs to be at a healthy weight, but I know this is only the beginning. First I saw a difference in my face/chin and now in my waist! I can’t wait to see my hips shrink down too.

I’ve always loved my curves, but now as I get healthier, I’m finding that I’m loving them in a whole new way.

Are you seeing results the way you want to? Let me know! And if you haven’t signed up yet, check out the Jump Start Diet with SELF magazine. It’s free and fabulous. What more could you want?
