Wacky Cracky?
I made an email address saying âwacky crackyâ when I was younger â I donât know why â but Iâve been too lazy to change it, so I make new addresses that link to that one. Sometimes, though, I forget to change my outgoing address to something other than the âwacky crackyâ one, and of course, itâs always to a professor, so theyâll always reply back to my emails saying like, âWacky cracky? Really?â Some girls found out about it and like to call me Wacky Cracky now.
Â
Likes:Â elephants, red pandas, double-stick tape
Â
Dislikes: winter quarter, people who talk in the library, crossing the street
Â
What do you on campus?
I play clarinet on the marching band. I teach sexual decision making for Peer Health Exchange. I volunteer at Centro Romero, a Spanish learning center where they teach English â itâs like an ESL center. Iâm also treasurer for my sorority, Kappa Delta.
Â
Which is your favorite?
I donât know if I can pick a favorite. Volunteering is a lot of fun; teaching high school students about sex is also fun. But you know, school spirit is great too. I donât think I can choose a favorite!
Â
Tell me more about how you got involved in the marching band.
My high school was really small so we didnât have one. I thought it would be a fun way to meet people and to be school spirited. A lot of people do things like P-Wild and I saw this as a way for me to get involved. It can be really time consuming, but itâs worth it. Everyone is just so in to it, and itâs fun to go to the football games. The spirit really catches on.
Â
Spring break plans?
Iâm going to New Orleans to build houses. Itâs kind of like ASA, itâs called NOLA. I thought it was really interesting because there are people from lots of different states going. I wanted to see New Orleans, too.

What you look for in a guy:
He has to be able to do his own laundry⊠I donât know. What do I look for in a guy? He canât take himself too seriously. You should never take yourself too seriously to be able to laugh at yourself, and you canât take things so seriously that you canât get over it.
Â
Why we love Effie:
Not only is Effie the sweetest, most adorable person youâll ever meet, she is also completely down-to-earth and confident. Sheâs like the girl-next-door combined with the drive and personality that makes her successful and truly inspirational to those around her. Sheâs also got a great sense of humor, meaning sheâs always a lot of fun and very easy to be around.Â
