Get Out, Go to Reily 2

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Tulane chapter.

In my last post, I introduced the idea of finding adventure through Reily Outdoor programming.  While most of us will be returning to campus on March 14th feeling relaxed and still enjoying the effects of Spring Break’s lazy days, Reily Outdoors doesn’t need a break!  There’s a trip scheduled for March 18, which is the Friday we get back.

The Moonlight Canoe Trip is a favorite among Reily Outdoors loyalists. Explore the Manchac Wetlands, see birds and ALLIGATORS, all under the beauty of the night sky.  Costs include transportation, equipment and dinner.  Register by March 15th!
            Time: 3-10pm
            Cost: $45

After a few more thrilling trips during March, Reily Outdoors really cranks up the fun-factor with a Strawberry Picking excursion on Sunday, April 10th.

The picking will occur at Liuzza’s on the Northshore.  The recipe for success is simple: you, friends, the great outdoors and as many strawberries as you could ever want at one time.  In addition to picking, you can indulge in some tasty treats, made fresh in the Liuzza kitchen.  Register by April 4th!
            Time: 9am-2pm
            Cost: $28

If either of these options sounds like it’s right up your alley, be sure to register ASAP! Click here to get a full listing of the Spring 2011 itinerary.

Be sure to post comments about any Reily Outdoors trips you’ve been on, telling us all what you thought!
