What are you planning on doing after college?: Probably going to take a year off to do some traveling and apply for a job or internship abroad at the peace corps just for a couple years to get some international experience then come back and get an MBA.
What’s the one thing you love about being an RA at Mesa Court?: I think it’s the connection. You have the opportunity to meet so many people! It’s constantly surprising and there’s always something new happening. You have the opportunity to build relationships that can stretch long after you graduate so I’ve made some really good friends.
So, you have a list of things that you were born to do. What is the last thing you have done from that list?: The main big thing I recently did was climb an active volcano, Volcan Pacaya in Guatemala, then I did a couple of small things after that. I took an acting class which is something I’ve always wanted to do just for fun.
What’s your favorite college memory?: I think freshman year in the dorms I really bonded, made good friends, did a lot of stupid stuff together. We have a core group that has lasted since freshman year and were all going to be graduating together.
What’s your favorite characteristic in a girl?: Sense of humor, definitely! It’s so important to be able to laugh at yourself and have fun! Life is too short to take it too seriously. I think it’s just a lot more fun if you can take the hard times and find something funny out of it.
Where is the coolest place you have ever been to?: Kalahari Desert in Botswana, I went to a two week 4×4 camping trip. It was a safari trip with family through South Africa, Botswana and Namibia.
What is your hidden talent?: I have a whole bunch of random talents! I’m a professional one-finger snapper!
