This summer it’s time to create a wave of change with beauty. And who better to do so than a group of fresh-faced teens? At least, that’s what Neutrogena thinks.
From July 17 through August 23, the skin care brand will donate $1—up to $200,000 total—from every Wave® Sonic Power-Cleaner and Oil-Free Acne Wash Pink Grapefruit product sold to GlobalGiving, an organization that matches donors up with fabulous causes. GlobalGiving will then take those donations and share them with environmental, educational and disaster relief charities. But GlobalGiving won’t be the ones choosing who which causes get the money; teens will!
As part of Neutrogena’s Wave for Change Campaign, teens can visit Neutrogena’s facebook page to take a customized quiz that will help decide how much of Neutrogena’s $200,000 donation ends up going to each cause. The quiz will help show what kind of cause each teen would support, thereby creating a fun way to determine how to divide the money among the causes.
While taking the quiz, teens can also check out how their favorite Neutrogena celebrity brand ambassadors—Vanessa Hudgens, Emma Roberts and Hayden Panettiere, to name a few—scored on the quiz.
This is one great campaign that combines beauty with charity, and what could be better than that?
