Is a manicure just a manicure? If you ask Lindsay Lohan, it sure is. After a string of run-ins with the law for her drinking and drug problems (not to mention her repeated defiance of the court system), Lohan was sentenced to 90 days in jail last week.
But in typical Lohan fashion, she made sure to get in a big statement along the way. During her sentencing, Lohan donned a pastel manicure that that read “f**k U” on her middle finger , causing an uproar of controversy.
Makeup or nail polish can be used to express how you’re feeling and send a specific message to the world. And in this case, it’s pretty clear what message Lohan wanted to send to the judge.
But even though Lohan claims the whole thing was a joke, was she out of line to wear this profane statement right on her finger in a legal setting? What do you think about this bold beauty statement? Post a comment!
